Here at River of Life, it is our heart’s desire that everyone who calls this their church home would be a part of many relationships on many levels! The Community Group(s) ministry is a very vital venue where this happens; in fact the vision for community groups is to “provide groups of disciples who are passionate to know and be like Jesus. These communities will study God’s Word, pray, worship, fellowship and invest in relationships with love and accountability. They will also build relationships outside the church to reflect the grace and love of the Savior in a practical way.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:10-13
Our community groups have a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and relationship building. Some of our groups have a specific bible study, and some have a dvd series that are topical or a bible study. Last, our “Pathfinders” groups are a study, discussion, and application of the sermon notes from Sunday’s services.
