River of Life Children’s Ministry is a Team of adults and teens that are committed to teaching and training your children. We really love your children, but we know we don’t love them as much as you do. That’s why we are here and available to support what you do at home. We work really hard to teach at a depth that may be hard to manage at home on a regular basis and then help make the knowledge applicable to their own faith. Each area of the ministry is specifically designed for each age group and we make the activities Biblical, relatable, and fun! Check out what we offer that works best for your family.
Sunday School
10:00-11:00 am
Amazing qualified teachers go deep into the Word of God and encourage your children through engaging lessons to love and live for Jesus.
Pre-K & K (3-5 Year-Olds) in Preschool Room in the Main Hallway. Ms. Cory and Ms. Jo are teaching stories from the Heroes of the Bible and how Jesus is in every part of the Bible.
1st Grade-2nd Grade in the first Room in the North Hallway. Mr. Rex and Ms. Suting Davidson are teaching from Gospel Light’s curriculum.
3rd Grade-5th Grade in the second Room in the North Hallway. Ms. Lyn Storey and Ms. Paulette Bourget are trekking through the Old Testament.
Children’s Church
Kids Kindergarten to 4th Grade have their own exciting kid worship service at 11:30
They will participate in kid-friendly praise songs, scripture memory, Bible lessons, and inspiring activities.
Check-in at the North Entrance before the 11:00 service and then bring your children with you to the sanctuary until they are dismissed at 11:30 to the Youth Room for the Children’s Church worship service. You are welcome to walk with them or let them go with the Helpers who meet the kids at the entrance to the sanctuary. 
At the end of service, pick-up your kids at the designated age group classroom.
4-6 years in First Classroom down the North Hallway (Labeled 2nd-3rd Grade)
7-9 years in the Second Classroom down the North Hallway (Labeled 4th-5th Grade)

Nursery

Don’t forget to check-in with the Child Check-in Station at the back Entrance
Available during 8:30 service, Sunday School and 11:00 service for 3 months-2 years
Please label diaper bags, bottles, blankets, etc.
No outside toys allowed.
If your child has had a fever in the last 24 hours, is coughing more than 4 times an hour, has a runny nose that has color, or has had diarrhea in the last 24 hours, please keep them with you in the sanctuary.

For Nursing Mothers, there is a room available in the main entrance just beyond the Sanctuary entrance.
Preschool Room

Available during the 11:00 service only
Ages 2 1/2 – 4 years
The pre-schoolers participate in age appropriate Bible Lessons and activities and play time.
Snack time is provided. (Please inform the teachers at check-in of any food related allergies).
Potty Training? Please inform the teachers at check-in. If possible, you can take your child to the restroom before the start of service. Toddlers still in diapers can be changed in the Nursery.

Notice:
Any Children’s Ministry Team Member over 16 receives a background check.
If you wish to volunteer in any of these ministries, you must be at least 10-years-old for the Nursery and 13 for Children’s Church or Sunday School. Please contact Ashley or the Office for an application and background check form.
