River of Life Alliance Church is guided by a board of elders. These men have different gifts and are of different backgrounds, but they love Jesus and they love this church. The lead pastor is considered the teaching elder and co-leads the church with the other active elders. We encourage everyone who calls River of Life their church home to get to know their elders. The elders meet three times a month; twice a month to pray for the church and once a month for an elder business meeting. The elders also sit on what we call our “governing board.” This board meets monthly and is comprised of elders and six members of our congregation who are elected by the congregation. This board manages the day-to-day business of the church, such as the budget and building use and hiring of new staff. If you have questions, ideas, or concerns, these are the men to go to.
